Croatia Sailing in Croatia is quickly becoming very popular because it’s shielded from inland eyes by the sweeping Dinaric Alps. Rhode Island, the governor of Rhode Island, has signed for the establishment of Sail Events Commission. The newly founded Commission board is aimed to identify & pull in internationally recognized sail events. Rhode Island carries a long tradition of sailing & has achieved global reputation as an esteemed venue for boating and marine events. This Commission also has the task of advising the governor regarding feasibility of utilizing Ft. Adams Park as the venue for picking & serving the American Olympic sailors. “Rhode Island has been the haven of some among the top notch boat designers & builders across the world”, stated Chafee. “we have hosted international standard racing events like America’s Cup & we would also host Volvo Race the coming year.
